Naveen Jain’s Company, Intelius, Recipient of the Title of Best New Company in 2006 Business Awards

The Bellevue based company, Intelius, empowers consumers with information that allows them to make intelligent day to day business decisions. Due to its work, The 2006 American Business Awards honored the group with the title, Best New Company. The award is better known as the Stevie Award, or “the Oscars of the business world.” The event took place on July 12 in New York City at the Fourth Annual Stevie Awards gala.

Intelius started providing online predictive intelligence to customers and businesses in 2003. The company set out to offer Intelius’ IDWatch, which enables customers the ability to prevent identity theft, and provide its users with a vehicle to perform background checks and work history. Since the company began, Intelius has acquired more than four million new and unique costumers, and expanded into a more than $50 million business. Because Intelius provides useful decision-making information to businesses and consumers, it has become a leader in the information commerce market.

Intelius received the Stevie Award on recommendation from the Award Board’s Distinguished Judges, Advisors, and staff. The only group that currently provides a national, all encompassing award for outstanding performance in the workplace is the American Business Awards.
